5 Quick Facts about the Certificate in Bicycle Mechanics Level 4
- At the end of the course you will be able to:
- Diagnose, overhaul and rebuild bicycle system componentry (including frames, steering, suspension, drive train, braking, and wheel and hub)
- Option 1: Design and build specialist bicycles or componentry and/or
- Option 2: Deliver and assess on-the-job training (to those working through level 3 in your workplace)
- This process will consist of:
- Application (you provide us with information about your skills in the application form)
- Evidence (we’ll collect evidence from your workplace to prove your experience)
- Assessment (we’ll test your skills during a few days of block courses)
- Course costs have not yet been finalised but will be around $500 (thanks to some heavy subsidisation!)
- Student loans and allowances are not available
