6 Quick Facts about the Certificate in Bicycle Mechanics Level 4
- At the end of the course you will be able to:
- Diagnose, overhaul and rebuild bicycle system componentry (including frames, steering, suspension, drive train, braking, and wheel and hub)
- Option 1: Design and build specialist bicycles or componentry and/or
- Option 2: Deliver and assess on-the-job training (to those working through level 3 in your workplace)
- Offered by distance learning over a 6 month period, which consists of:
- Workplace learning and experience
- Workplace assessment
- plus several block courses (1 or 2 days at high intensity)
- As a prerequisite you need either:
- We are working to provide the qualification to international students (register your interest keep informed)
- Course costs have not yet been finalised, but student loans will be available
