6 Quick Facts about the Certificate in Bicycle Mechanics Level 4

  1. At the end of the course you will be able to:
    • Diagnose, overhaul and rebuild bicycle system componentry (including frames, steering, suspension, drive train, braking, and wheel and hub)
    • Option 1: Design and build specialist bicycles or componentry and/or
    • Option 2: Deliver and assess on-the-job training (to those working through level 3 in your workplace)
  2. This 18 week course consists of:
    • Practical training sessions and assessment at our Auckland training centre
    • Workplace learning and experience
  3. As a prerequisite you need either:
